Time doesn't heal. Time gives you the strength to get through your day or move past the moment.
After the loss of her son to suicide, a mother writes journal entries in order to deal with her grief. She finds that writing her thoughts and feelings not only helps her but also helps others. How? She begins sharing on social media. From there, her ability to be open about her grief invites others to heal with her. Follow her journey of grief and experience the roller coaster of emotion she feels as she navigates this new life without her son.
This book allows readers inside the mind of a grieving mother. You can feel the raw emotion and heartache of her loss, yet feel her strength of survival. Readers understand that there is no right way to grieve and that it is okay to have a mix of emotions as you attempt to make sense of your loss.
Readers also gain insight into the mental health struggles of a young man and the pain his mother experiences throughout his life and accompanying his death. It provides insight into suicide and the tragic loss left behind. Nate's story is a story for many. His story touches so many lives in many capacities. It's for those struggling with mental health, grief, addiction, parents, and young adults. Hope is a recurring theme throughout.
